I stumbled on your blog after learning that a dear friend had a heartbreaking 10 beta HcG test today after feeling so very pregnant on her second IVF attempt. I think I Googled "IVF HCG beta test". So, I read through all you went through from your negative PG test following IVF #2 through IVF #4 -- after a bleary-eyed hour or more in your blog, I decided to fast forward and discovered your "to do" list for the adoption on the right. As I got near the bottom I saw that you just went to Korea this week and got your beautiful boy like 3 days ago! I had NO IDEA as I was reading 2-year old IVF drama that the real honest-to-God happy ending is happening right now. I absolutely love your post above. I have tears streaming down my face as I read your assuredness that THIS BOY is the child God always had intended for you. CONGRATULATIONS MOMMY!

Oh, congratulations! I am constantly amazed at this wonderful thing called adoption and how it can bring such warm, soul-touching feelings to people who have struggled so long. I am also amazed at how everyone feels they got "the best baby." I know my family feels that way and you do too -- it is a beautiful thing.
